Collapse ▲Since its formal inception in 1914, Extension has dedicated more than a century to extending knowledge and enriching the lives of North Carolinians.
As we approach the 110th anniversary of the Smith-Lever Act, and 110 years of Extension, we’ve created a collection of resources to help celebrate Extension’s history and enlighten others about our indelible impact across the state.
Extension History Resources
The materials below are available to all Extension personnel and can be used in a variety of ways. Consider using them in your local marketing efforts throughout the year as appropriate.
The digital billboards, for example, can be displayed on county center / campus screens or inserted into presentations. The handout is a great leave-behind piece for events or meetings with new partners. The video clip can boost engagement with newsletters, webpages or social channels (along with the social graphics).
